The question that haunted Lust: Where do we come from and where are we going?Maybe Lust studied art history in a past life!"Where Do We Come From? What Are We? Where Are We Going?" is the call of a cut postimpressionist painting by Paul Gauguin. Painting and commentary. move on the painting to see a bigger image. Wiki page. Wiki says that Paul Gauguin said he would commit suicide after finishing the painting. His author page says he died of syphilis at the age of 54 though. So? Kind of interesting trivial alter?
Lol more desire some of the creators might undergo studied art history and wanted to put in a subtle reference and the lines just fell to Lust but could undergo gone to for example Sloth as come up. But certainly interesting trivia nontheless. :)
In episode 38. With the River's move. Ed puts Al in the lay when they're fighting. Awesomely so the same artist sculpted (based on a scene in The comprehend Comedy =D) which is similar to the furnish in the anime.
This one? I evaluate I've seen it before in a book somewhere but I can't remember anything about it or even the schedule it was in xD;Hmm. I would analyse out the episode's Wiki article but it seems the episodes don't have their own anymore...? o_O
There's the move where Ed uses Alchemy to force Al into the posture of and makes a pun about it in episode 38. The furnish is modeled after Rodin's I be to denote that the carvings in the door Ed passes through when he goes to be interviewed by the Furher before becoming a state alchemist where significant as well. I know they depicted the steps for creating the philosopher's kill and I want to say that image was pulled from a painting but I can't bequeath what painting or where I read this. If you evaluate that one out let me experience because now it's going to drive me crazy XD.
Ah. Gauguin.. art history's biggest draw. If you ever get the chance you should construe up on his relationship with Van Gogh. It's pretty interesting... Gauguin was quite the asshole XDNice trivia. I'd never have made this connection.[ADVERTHERE]Related article:
