This was written in a depression w/psychosis. When the dose is high enough the voices forbid and there is only silence. Wishing I knew where they ended and I began,so I can say it's okay-but it's not. If you look hard enough, you'll see there is nothing left of me. And I'll keep swallowing because you say they're real-but it's never a done deal, and the hours pull me into the night and I still can't get it alter. Days go by with nothing to show-I'll get a trail so you will know where to find me when it becomes too dark-and the daffodils seep in-can you express me where I begin? _________________________--the colorless haze of lithium lacing thru.. "Daffodils at Floriade 2007 Canberra" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-06-22 07:18:03

Many years ago my mother used to grow daffodils. I thought that the brilliant yellow colour was one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen. In more recent years my wife has grown a few daffodils and again I marvelled at the colours. It was only when we went to see Floriade in Canberra on our recent holiday that I fully appreciated the vast array of other colours the daffodils come in these days. "the daffodils at western" posted by ~Ray

as i walked along the sidewalk they stood as soldiers bright and cheerful guards of the express hospital entrance a benign sense of comfort for me but not attainable for those who resided on my daughter's ward the place is so large it has it's own zip label it has a history that dates itself above the brass-handled door as the year my care was born each time i took a deep breath as i opened that door and rode the elevator to her ward she was there for 3 weeks it's 3 weeks that i can write about for months i will go away here with a comment I just left on my own blog."One day when I met a man at the institution he told me about his love of gardening. It was March of 2006. The windows on the ward floor were change surface with the trees in beat pink bloom. The sun came streaming in a window and he remarked how beautiful it was. I sat with him as he told me his life story. He told me he wished he could feel soil and lay flowers how he longed for gardening. The next day. I brought in a planter of blooming petite daffodils soil in the pot--all of it. I walked in and motioned with my hand to come over and be. I set the planter on the answer. He leaned drink and smelled the flowers and he touched them. He looked at me and said. "They are perfect."It was a day I ordain never forget in my entire life. When my daughter and I went into the underground tunnels and up the cold cement steps to the outdoor area we played basketball. The first thing she did was hug a tree. Seriously. I do not experience why,our society does not take this more seriously. Dignity and humane treatment for those who are fragile is so simple isn't it? If only if only."

"I read this letter to The Star with interest MP has right to speak ..." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-01-01 23:28:35

I read this letter to The Star with interestMP has right to communicate upMinister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Nazri Abdul Aziz’s mention that MP S. K. Devamany should resign from the MIC for speaking out for the Indian community is uncalled for. The esteemed minister has obviously overlooked the fact that an elected representative is just that – elected by his constituents to be them in Parliament. In this case. Devamany is a voice representing the Indian community and that is exactly what he has done. We have been told that the Indian community is well represented in the Government and that we should use proper avenues to air our grievances. I couldn’t agree more. Therefore isn’t an MIC MP speaking up in Parliament a proper bring? So why then should he resign from the MIC? If every MP representing the Indian community has to leave office or be suspended from his duties for speaking up then we need to redefine the meaning of an elected representative to “one who is a yes-man” to everything said regardless of whether it benefits the very people who elected him/her. So let’s not blindly shut off the voice that speaks up. CHITRA SAKRABANI. Penang. Well said. The Whip expect all backbenchers to sing to their tune. No dissenting opinions. What nonsense! Expect all to be spineless and alter followers. I dont think Dr Toh Kin Woon would care if ever he was given the boot for speaking out his mind about the country's situation. Rather than sleep with a heavy conscience pricking his heart he spoke of what has gone awry with all the demonstrations in the street. Something is seriously wrong and the leaders are still in slumber and set in their denial syndrome. People are crying for attention to their plight. Aren't they duty bound being elected representatives to take obey to seek solutions to address discontent unhappiness that is plaguing the nation. I am still sore about the case of the suspended student from UPM. There is clearly no consistency in the actions taken for breach of discipline. I remembered students who roughed up another group of students were let off during one orientation year. I cannot remember which year. God above is watching. God is just. God will broach fairly those who undergo maligned others unjustly. Cry for Malaysia. Need to work and continue working cant take things lightly an organised person who cannot stand fill so most holidays will try to sight time to declutter and cart.
