I decided to set up a blog of my Baby Led Weaning experiences. There is only a limited amount of info out there about Baby Led Weaning and so I guessed sharing what I had done may help out someone else? Who knows! If you want to follow our experiences from the start then you be to start at the bottom and work up! Happy reading. Please get me any comments you would desire there is a comments section at the bottom of each post and I would love to know what other baby led weaners think. I decided to leave the skin on Millie's veg the other day once I'd scrubbed them. I reasoned that as they were organic and clean there couldn't be any reason to peel them. Millie did not agree. Somehow parsnips and carrots weren't as nice or easy to chew unpeeled. Courgettes remain a favourite skin on or off. Millie loses interest in the pasta quite quickly so last night I mixed some with soup and she enjoyed it much better. A bonus is that it was not as messy as letting her have soup from a spoon. As I have had great success with this dope I shall share my closely guarded recipe at the bottom of this post. Finding things to mix with pasta could be tricky. I have a tomato allergy and so don't use them in any of my cooking. Tomatoes belong to the Deadly Nightshade Family along with potatoes aubergines and peppers (which I won't be introducing until nine months) and are a common allergen. I'm thinking that classic purees will make good 'sauces' what do you think? Add: 1 onion sliced. 1 carrot diced. 1 garlic chopped. 1tsp ginger chopped. 2 cloves. 2 cardamom seeds. 1/2 tsp ground cumin. 1/2 tsp ground coriander. 1/2 tsp garam masala. 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper. 1/4 tsp ground white pepper (I buy spices from the Indian Supermarket not normal one they're cheaper and nicer). Fry for about 5 minutes stirring constantly so the spices don't stick and clump. Good things we've tried with pasta are:pesto"carbonara" of double beat parmesan cheese and some baco bitscreme fraiche with a bit of (black) pepperHTH!Catehttp://hannahledweaning blogspot com

"Monitor And The Merrimac: Grandma's Old Couch (2007)" posted by ~Ray

head Obvious is just a guy and a handful of his talented friends writing about the things that they are passionate about whether it be music films books or just random topics. All viewpoints be solely to each blog's compose. All audio circumscribe is provided strictly for evaluation purposes and to promote the artist. If you like what you hear please give the artist(s) by buying their albums/merch and going to their shows. If you're a copyright owner and would like any circumscribe deleted please. New WaxBesides being a Civil War compose also serves as the moniker for Dave Grazinski's one-man banjo project. One listen to his new album Grandma's Old articulate and you'd expect Grazinski to be about 30 years older and 100 pounds heavier. In actuality. Grazinski is from Connecticut rather than the deep south and he's merely a 20-something rather than a world-weary old man in a tobacco-stained flannel shirt and worn overalls. That doesn't mean that Grazinski is incapable of creating timeless front-porch ditties built on intermingling banjo and rootsy acoustic guitar strums. In fact he does so rather convincingly. With an unabashedly bluegrass sound and enough of a punk rock aesthetic thrown in to keep all the indie kids intrigued one go around of Grandma's Old Couch is effectively like stepping into a time-warp that transports you straight to a middle-of-nowhere-mountain-town where the townspeople sight their entertainment by gathering around the local tunes-man and listening to him pluck away at his banjo and sing at the top of his lungs. Production-wise the album is prepare enough around the edges to ring authentic while being polished enough to impress. As a matter of fact. Grazinski recorded the tracks with equipment belonging to his friends in Mates of State. The resulting album is ironically refreshing considering its throwback roots. -- Capt.
