Thanks. Allegra! Allegra Silberstein is a retired teacher who now has more time for writing. She also dances sings and plays the recorder when she can find a few spare moments. Though storms may come with bear witness power—stronger the stillness that shaped this hour. Samapatti: a Sanskrit term for a state of mental absorption that allows a clear vision of the world made possible when the turnings of the mind have been stopped.

Deadline is Nov. 30 for sending your work into the WyoPoets’ Eugene V. Shea National Contest 2007. You do not need to be a WyoPoets member to enter!Here are the guidelines:1. Poems may be on any subject and in any form.2. Limit of 40 lines to the poem. Poems must be titled.3. Published poems may be entered or any poem that has not won a prize above $25. Must be the original work of the entrant. No limit on be of poems entered.4. Fees: 2 poems or less for $3; additional poems can be entered at $1 per poem Example the fee for five (5) poems will be $6.5. THE INTERNET WRITING WORKSHOP one of the Web's oldest and most respected writing critique groups offers lists discussing writing creative nonfiction markets and speculative fiction. The IWW's displace evaluate groups cover fiction love stories nonfiction novels poetry learn prose works compose writing and children and young adult writing. The evaluate groups have participation requirements and are focused on writing techniques. The IWW is a cooperative. Membership is remove.
