"Sexual Strategies" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-03-16 00:14:24

Sexual Strategies procure (C) 2007 Elena Solomon author of Have you ever thought WHY men’s and women’s sexual strategies are so different?- Why men want sex and women want love?-Why there are teaching women how to get one-night stands?-Why women charge about men not loving them enough - but refusing to make love?If you’ve ever been frustrated with the opposite gender. I feel for you. I’ve been there too. In fact for nearly two decades of my life I was completely clueless on what was going on between men and women - with disastrous results. Then I decided I’d had enough and I wanted to hit the books what the other gender was REALLY looking for and HOW one could master that. In bunco. I wanted to know what makes men and women go. This is what I learned and what every Our sexual strategies are deeply imprinted in our SUBCONSCIOUS. We cannot CHANGE what is there. We cannot CHOOSE whom we conclude attracted to. We just FEEL it. Why?Because from Mother Nature’s point of view the purpose of life is LIFE itself. It’s procreation. In other words to keep the human go thriving men and women should undergo sex and have children. To make men and women have sex care Nature created a mechanism which drives males and females towards one another. This mechanism is what we routinely call like or attraction. Attraction is actually a cocktail of certain hormones generated in our bodies in the presence of someone who appears to be good genes - in other words a person of the opposite gender who seems to have the capacity of producing a healthy offspring that will survive. Those hormones make us feel euphoric and excited and we feel an enormous urge to get in change state communicate with the person we are attracted to. This is really what love is all about. It’s just the means of making us undergo sex with each other and make babies. All those poems about the wonders of love are written about the condition of a human being under the influence of a powerful mix of natural drugs. And yes you hit a high!Anyone who’s been in like can confirm that. The thing you must understand is that this process is COMPLETELY UNCONTROLLABLE. We cannot decide who we go in like with. This is because the purpose of procreation is so important that Mother Nature cannot rely on our recently developed intellectual capacities to alter the right choice. Instead it uses the wisdom of generations BEFORE us to make the choice FOR us. The mechanism of sexual attraction is firmly imprinted in our GENETIC MEMORY. We are attracted to certain patterns of behavior and physical characteristics. When we come across those patterns in real life we feel attraction to this person - and we cannot help it. With all advances in modern science and birth hold back we comfort have the same biological hardware as our pre-historical ancestors. Scientists say that we have the same bodies as our forebears some 50,000 years ago. It means that when you fall in love (or lust) you do it the same way as cavemen and cavewomen did. You simply FEEL it. You cannot persuade yourself to fall in like – you either feel it or not. So why men and women use such different sexual strategies? Why men want sex and women want love?Because men and women ARE different. Not exceed or worse but different. A man can create a child every measure he has sex and a woman can only produce a child only every back up year or so. So for a man there are no adverse consequences for having sex with as many women as he wants - the more children he produces the higher his chance to create. For a woman it’s different. She needs to be selective to secure the best genes for her child. If she makes a do by choice and falls pregnant from a man with bad genes her offspring may not survive into adulthood. And she can only produce about 10 children during her lifetime. This is why men’s and women’s sexual strategies are so different. Men desire quantity; women seek quality. Men seek abundance of sex women - abundance of admirers. This is absolutely NATURAL. This is the cerebrate why you are here today and alive – because your ancestors men and women acted true to their natural aspirations. Millions of dead ends of the species vanished into oblivion – and every single one of YOUR ancestors managed to find a sexual partner and produce an offspring that survived into adulthood. -If your female ancestors weren’t picky you wouldn’t be here today.-If your male ancestors weren’t trying to get laid at every opportunity you might as come up never be born. The contend of the sexes is the contend for the survival of HUMANITY. We are made this way. Accept it. And learn to use it to your advantage!ABOUT THE AUTHOR:Elena Solomon is a dating coach. Her latest book "" became #1 'like & Romance' bestseller in the leading ebook distribution service in just ONE WEEK after release. It shows you EXACTLY how you can utilize the natural laws of attraction and our in-built sexual strategies to win in the bet of love. Get the UNFAIR ADVANTAGE in the battle of sexes!

"I wish my classmates would stop giving me sexual poems to critique" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-27 20:41:08

I know that there are a lot of hormones floating around on college campuses and I experience some of that is bound to make its way into the poetry of my fellow English 91 classmates. I can deal with the hint stuff but there are always two or three populate in the Poetry Workshops who refer heavily S&M somewhat mind-scarring stanzas. I know I’m an innocent (or sexually-repressed prude act your prick - I mean “choose”) and I just can’t command writing in-depth critiques of these poems. I can’t. That requires me to construe carefully at least two times something I would rather not do even given a ten-foot non-phallic-symbolizing pole and a pair of binoculars. I evaluate we only have two more Workshops left. I’m praying so because I am way too uncomfortable with the situation as it stands right now. In NaNo news if I had kept to my 1,670 words per day plan. I would undergo been able to read my five webcomics yesterday. Instead. I am left with around 3,000 left before I can share of my first reward. I conclude kind of guilty about not keeping up and fairly desperate to construe my dear dear webcomics. Withdrawal has set in. I guess you could say. I open myself reading my printed volumes of “Megatokyo” yesterday and had to put them in my closet so I would not be tempted. Also. I keep thinking about old storylines from webcomics that I did not think I’d desire too much… Agh it’s driving me a little crazy. I undergo to keep focused and I’m beginning to doubt whether having webcomics as a reward was a good idea - what if the Piperka proximity to so many other links leads me into temptation…? The other affect of not reading webcomics is that I check my telecommunicate five or six times a day and tour Facebook a minimum of three times. Vaguely worrying… Before NaNo started. I did manage to finish the Sprite Door IDs for my roommates. They are now hanging cheerily on our door. Here’s Liz’s and Anne’s posters. "The World in Us: Lesbian and Gay Poetry of the Next Wave" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-03 14:33:15

contains work by 46 poets with between one and eight poems by each poet. There is an change surface breakdown between men and women included in the anthology and it is organized alphabetically. In the introduction the editors note that they selected poems that are in some cases longer than poems usually included in anthologies and indeed the length of the poems and the number of poems included by each compose makes reading this anthology an interesting introduction to the bring home the bacon of each of the poets. More than reflecting on the choices of the editors however the introduction provides some interesting insights into identity construction of gay and lesbian poets at the time the schedule was compiled. First the editors posit that all of the poets are “mid-career,” which they be as poets who ordain create verbally “their best work in the twenty-first century,“ or poets whose best bring home the bacon is in front of them. This is an interesting assertion but I create by mental act most poets would feel that each poem immediately in the future is the beat poem that they ordain write. That individual perception aside however one of the things about the construction of this anthology and the notion of “mid-career” is the way that it presents all of the poets as within similar generations. The editors write in the introduction. “The range of age is roughly midtwenties to mid-fifties. In other words generally speaking it’s a post-World War II crowd--in some cases post-Vietnam (if generations are to be marked by violent global conflicts).” While this broad analysis may suit general readers. I see there to be a stark delineation among generations even within the anthology. I look here at the lesbian poets as their bring home the bacon I experience the beat. Of the twenty-three lesbian poets included in this anthology. I would consider there to be a generational break with these women being move of the second wave of feminism:Olga Broumas+ChrystosCheryl Clarke+Marilyn Hacker+Eloise Klein HealyJoan Larkin*Honor Moore+Eileen MylesMinnie Bruce Pratt+Terry Wolverton(* indicates inclusion in )Of those poets there are some clear similarities in how their work is informed by feminist activism during the 1970s both in terms of the creation of their poetry and the reception. With the possible exception of Eileen Myles whose work I think was not received within feminist circles to the degree of the others all of these poets could be considered poets of the lesbian-feminist movement. Now consider the poets who are younger - that is not old enough to have been involved in lesbian-feminism but more identified with the queer nation for lack of a better evince. I believe these poets in a different generation:Beatrix GatesElena GeorgiouMelinda GoodmanMelanie HopeLetta NeelyAchy ObejasGerry Gomez PearlbergMariana Romo-CarmonaRuth SchwartzRobyn SelmanLinda SmuklerCheryl Boyce TaylorSo why does this be? come up part of what I think all forbid poet anthologies do is create advance the notions of the categories of “lesbian” and “gay.” The editors in their introduction note that there are differences between the anthology produced in 1988. They create verbally. “Many of the writers included in is published in 2000 there are very different identity concerns to be addressed in the assemblage of the anthology. Evident concerns include the be to furnish a queer of color perspective. The editors write. “Since 1988 the broadening more inclusive community has change state one of the most diverse groups on hide and the poetry being written by its members is staggering in its variety as well as its energy. This new queer poetry (or perhaps ”postqueer“ describes it more accurately) is democratic in the beat sense. These young women and men are maturing in a world in which the unambiguous statement of equality has already been made. Their writing lives have had that context from the beginning.”It is here that I see the generational issues most starkly. Consider one of the poems by Olga Broumas from “Caritas.” She writes,With the clearplastic speculum transparentand when inserted pink like the convex carapace of a prawn flashlight in hand. I command youinside the smallcathedral of my cunt. The unexpectedlight dazzles you. This flesh my darling alwaysinvisible desire the wetside of stones the hiddenhemisphere of the idle startles youwith its brillianceBroumas’ work in command and this poem in particular although published in her book from 1999 demonstrates values about women’s bodies and difference that are emblematic of a particular type of feminism during the second gesticulate. Also believe Cheryl Clarke’s “Passing” which beginsi’ll go as a man today and take up public space with my urges in the casual way he does in three-piece conform to and gucci pumps big pants and large sneakers tight jeans and steel-tipped boots construe my newspapers spread-eagled across a whole row of seats make my briefcase-boombox-backpack into an ottoman on the seat across from me on the l i r r. In this poem from published.
